Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care and support to individuals with PWS
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal planning, and social activities
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice for each individual
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other support staff
- Help manage behavioural, emotional, and dietary challenges associated with PWS
- Encourage healthy routines and offer emotional support in a positive environment
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in care, support work,
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs
- Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- A flexible approach to working hours and a strong sense of responsibility
- Understanding of Prader-Willi Syndrome and the challenges it presents is a plus, but training will be provided
